OCALA, FL- Dale R. Sutton, 96, went to heaven on February 10, 2018. He was born on August 25, 1921 in Valencia, PA.
After graduating from the Ohio State University in 1943, he served in World War II as a USN Officer on an LST in the Pacific. He then had a career as a Special Agent with the FBI. He was a Mason and was also involved in scouting, the SAR, and the Mayflower Society.
He was predeceased by Nora C. Sutton, his wife of 61 years.
He leaves behind a son Gregg, of Weeki Wachee FL; a daughter Nancy Sparks of Jonesboro, TN; 4 grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Roberts Funeral Home 6241 SW State Road 200 Ocala, FL 34476 at 1:00 pm.
Graveside services will be at Workman Cemetery in Danville on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with military rites conducted by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council, Masonic services performed, and Pastor Ron Davis officiating.
