Glenmont – Edna Mae Cutlip, 88, passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at her daughter’s residence in Wooster while surrounded by her family.
She was born April 8, 1929 in Copley to Joseph J. and Carrie E. (Fain) Zemanick. On May 6, 1950, she married Robert M. Cutlip, who preceded her in death August 9, 1996. Also deceased are her parents, brothers; Leon, Orin, and Carl Zemanick, and three great grandsons.
Edna was a very active member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and also the Jefferson Grange and Ohio Eastern Star. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, and enjoyed sewing, canning, cooking, baking, crocheting, and knitting. She loved her family, and helping friends and neighbors.
She is survived by a brother, James E. Zemanick of Medina, sons; Robert M. Cutlip, Jr. of Perrysville, and James A. Cutlip of Ashland, daughters; Susan J. Howman of Wooster, Rebecca L. Aune of Mount Vernon, and Laurene L. Vess of Danville, 24 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17 at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4-7 Thursday evening at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville.
