Glenn Harris

                DANVILLE- Glenn Harris, 65, died Monday, May 22, 2017 at his residence.

                He was born March 13, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Morris Samuel and Adele (Cohen) Harris.  He graduated from Farmingdale Community College in New York with an associate’s degree in police science.  He served as an officer for the Columbus Police Department, retiring in 1998. He also formerly worked at the Rosemount School for Girls (part of Franklin Co. Children’s Services),  Alvis House, and Rod’s Western Palace, all in Columbus.

                He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Beth Ann (Pierpont) Harris of Danville, whom he married in 1993; two sons, Michael David Harris, and Michael (Amanda) Hogancamp; a granddaughter, Rowan Hogancamp; two aunts, Eileen (Stanley) Siever, and Judy (Michael) Wohl; five cousins, Mitchell, Jeffrey, Melynda, Sharyl, and Donna; father-in-law, Bill (Becky) Pierpont; four sisters-in-law, Diana (Doug) Sands, Lisa (Tom) Hommrich, and Brenda & Linda Murphy; two nieces, Kaleigh (Nick) Michalko, and Lesleigh (Nick) Bruton; and two nephews, Sam & Joe Hommrich.
