Welcome to the memorial page for

Janice L. Cullison

February 8, 1935 ~ October 22, 2017 (age 82) 82 Years Old

WARSAW- Janice Lee Cullison, 82, of 105 W. Fourth St., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born February 8, 1935, at home in West Bedford to C. Gerald and Alma M. (Walker) Haines. A graduate of Warsaw High School, she then married Jack Keith Cullison on September 27, 1953. For over 50 years, Janice owned and operated Janice’s Fash-N-Aire & Beauty Salon out of her home, but grandchildren were never in need of an appointment.

A treasured wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she’ll be remembered for incessantly investing her time and many unique talents into those that called her the same. She enjoyed painting the woodworking crafts that were engineered in her husband’s woodshop as well as daily conversation that emerged with many loyal customers in her beauty shop. Her sugar cookies, homemade cinnamon rolls, fudge, and peanut butter pie were staples. She possessed a love-hate relationship with her garden vegetable canning, yet welcomed it anew each summer. Rarely ever absent from a grandchild’s event, traveling the United States with her husband later became an enjoyable hobby, with Myrtle Beach, SC often a popular year-end destination. Janice regularly attended Sunday services at Calvary Baptist Church, but a biblical devotion was fundamental to her each and every day.

Janice is survived by her son, Jerry (Linda) Cullison of Lewis Center, a daughter, Pamela (Terry) Olinger of Fresno, a granddaughter, Jerilyn (Matt) Rademacher of Dublin, four grandsons; David (Chhavy) Cullison of (Lakewood), Brian (Jamie) Olinger of Westerville, Jason (Jenny) Olinger of West Lafayette, Christopher (Ashleigh) Olinger of Delaware, nine great-grandchildren; Alex and Eric Rademacher, Parker and Clark Cullison, Marley, Reese, and Abby Olinger, Colton Olinger, and Alessandra Olinger, a brother, Gary (Susan) Haines, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Joanne Binford.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral Services will be held at11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, with Pastor Frank Carl and Dwayne Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
