DANVILLE- Jonathan Allen Wise, 17, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born Aug. 31, 1999 in Columbus to Pete and Kim (Wenger) Wise. He was a student at Danville High School and the Knox Co. Career Center, Class of 2018. He had just completed US Army Basic Training, graduating on Aug. 17th and preparing for service in the 454th Transportation Company based out of Columbus. He loved his family and especially enjoyed time spent with his nephew.
He is survived by his parents, Pete & Kim Wise of Danville; two brothers, Matthew James (Micayla) Wise, and Cory Michael Wise; a nephew, Cayden Wise; and many other special loved ones.
He is preceded in death by two grandfathers, David Wenger and Dave Mahr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 at the Danville Church of Christ, 15961 Danville-Jelloway Rd., with Minister Jason Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery, with graveside military rites performed by the United States Army Reservists and the Knox Co. Veterans Honor Guard. Calling hours will be held at Fischer Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 30th from 4-8 p.m., as well as one hour prior to service time at the church on Thursday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
