Mary Maxine Huffman

Danville – Mary Maxine Huffman, 78, passed away at home Wednesday, August 02, 2017 surrounded by family.

                She was born August 27, 1938 in Mount Vernon to John G. and Lena U. (Ulrey) Cunningham. On October 15, 1957 she married John Robert Huffman. She was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star Glenwood Chapter, the Gambier Pythian Sisters, the Red Hat Society, the “Fat Club” and the “Card Club”, and enjoyed her Freedom Years Tours.

                Maxine is survived by her children; Malinda (John) Cook of Mount Vernon, Karen Huffman, Lori Frink (Travis Jones), and John (Charlene) Huffman all of Danville, 2 granddaughters, 6 grandsons, and 2 great grandchildren.

                She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.

                A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Bob Hines will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, followed by an Eastern Star service.
