Jean A. Stachler

                DANVILLE- Jean Ann (Boling) Stachler, 69, died Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Knox Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, surrounded by friends and family.

                She was born Nov. 26, 1954 in Mt. Vernon to the late Earl Francis “Tony” and Eleanor Luella (Barcus) Boling. She was a 1973 graduate of Danville High School, and received an Associate’s Degree in Business from Central Ohio Technical College. She worked as a data manager/analyst for Ariel Corp. in Mt. Vernon, and was a former bus driver and cafeteria cook for Danville Schools.

                Jean loved golfing and going to the beach, doing her nails and leather work. She always enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports.

                She is survived by five sons, Steve Sigman of Mt. Vernon, Brian Sigman of Danville, Jason Stachler of Danville, Joel Stachler of Danville, and Justin Stachler of Brinkhaven; her grandchildren, Cheyenne & Kyley Sigman, James Stachler II & Joseph Stachler, Kara Romel, Korbin & Raina Stachler, and Jaice Stachler; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Vickie) Boling of Laurel Hill, FL; an aunt, Evelyn Murray of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews.

                In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lois (Charles "Sonny") Fox; and a brother, Richard (Wilma) Boling.

                Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Pastor Paul Boling & Mr. David Boling officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
