Judith M. Anderson, 68, of Coshocton passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1:05 p.m. at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born May 8, 1955 in Columbus, OH to the late Charles A. & Lillian M. (Thompson) MacDonald.
Judy had been a long time member of the Coshocton Church of Christ. She was employed at Pretty Products for many years, and also worked at Well’s Greenhouse and the Garden Patch.
She was also self employed with her own greenhouse business (ferns & perennials) which she shared with her sister Betty.
Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, her dogs and spending time in her flower gardens. Judy loved the plants and flowers, knowing the names of all, spending hours planting and caring for them. She loved the outdoors, the beauty of the sky in the evening, watching and listening to the birds and just sitting around the fire listening to the frogs and the crickets.
Judy married Brian D. Anderson in 1990, who was thankful to be her soulmate and the recipient of many good meals and countless walks in the woods with their dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Brian. Son, Shawn R. (Susanna) Brink of Coshocton. Two step children, Alisha R. (Bruce) McVay of Warsaw and Caleb P. (Amanda) Anderson of Coshocton. Sisters, Kathy D. (Jerry) Stubbs of Warsaw, Debbie K. McDonald of Coshocton, Theresa M. (Jamie) McKnight of Warsaw, Beverly S. McClain of Coshocton & Betty L. (Larry) Wright of Coshocton. Brothers, Charles A. (Mary Lou) MacDonald Jr. of Warsaw and John Eric (Vanessa) MacDonald of West Lafayette. Three grandchildren, three step grandchildren & several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Carol Boyce.
