DANVILLE- Betty A. (Yoder) Weaver, 65, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020 at her residence after a four-month battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 26, 1954 in Millersburg to the late Abe and Fannie (Kauffman) Yoder. She was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Betty is survived by her husband of 45 years, Levi Weaver of Danville, whom she married Jan. 16, 1975; nine children, Steven (Anna) Weaver of Tollesboro, KY, Orus (Lydia Ann) Weaver of Tollesboro, KY, Laura (John) Yoder of Danville, Leroy (Amelia) Weaver of Sarasota, FL, Edward (Anna Mae) Weaver of Danville, Daniel (Naomi) Weaver of Danville, Fannie (Steven) Yoder of Danville, Lena (Sam) Hershberger of Danville, and Ivan Weaver of Danville; twenty-six grandchildren; her siblings, Twila (Mervin) Raber of Millersburg, Miriam (Mark) Schrock of Sugarcreek, Wes (Niva) Yoder of Millersburg, and Dan (Mary) Yoder of Millersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Allen Weaver; and one sister, Iva Yoder.
Friends and family may call any time Friday, Jan. 17th & Saturday, Jan. 18th at the Weaver residence, 12601 Shoemaker Rd. Danville, OH 43014. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 19th at the home, with Minister Christy Mast officiating. Burial will follow in Keim Cemetery, Union Township.
