Mount Vernon – Bonnie L. Miller, 75, passed away on Saturday November 24, 2018 at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born December 19, 1942 in Jelloway. She was the daughter of Paul W. and Ida Belle (Deck) Shrimplin. She was married to Robert D. Miller on July 27, 1958. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, canning, telling jokes, and playing cards. There wasn’t a card game that she didn’t know how to play, or typically wasn’t involved in. She also made sure to attend every sporting event that her family participated in.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Robert, of Mount Vernon, her daughter, Rochelle (Jeff) Shackle of Butler, her sons Rocky (Marjorie) Miller of Groveport, Trent (Susan) Miller of Mount Vernon, and Todd (Amy) Miller of Columbus, grandchildren, Robert (Jessica) Miller, Clint Miller, Kyle (Emily) Shackle, Karina (Chad) McDonald, Kory Shackle, Nathan Miller, and Natasha Miller, great grandchildren, Ava Shackle and Case McDonald, her sister, Patsy (Lanny) Lyons of Danville, her brother, Larry Shrimplin of Danville, her sister-in-law, Marilyn Shrimplin, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Michael Shrimplin, and sister-in-law, Marlene Shrimplin.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville with Matt McManaway officiating. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4-7:00 on Tuesday.
