Danville – Kenneth L. Armstrong, 84, passed away on Monday June 25, 2018 at Country Club Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.

He was born in Mount Vernon on October 22, 1933 to Dawson and Bernice (Harding) Armstrong. He married Ruth Edmister on June 26, 1953, who survives along with his children; Pamela (Brent) Grassbaugh of Howard, Tammy (Andy) Carne of Mount Vernon, and Jeff (Linda) Armstrong of Howard, grandchildren; Eric (Kacey) Grassbaugh of Marengo, Tanya Grassbaugh-Newell of Fredericktown, Tyler Durbin of Columbus, and Sam Armstrong of Dayton, great grandchildren; Lee B. Newell and Elyse Newel of Fredericktown, and Emerson Grassbaugh and Cecilia Grassbaugh of Marengo, brothers; Gary Armstrong of Mount Vernon, and Dick (Connie) Armstrong of Ashland, and a sister, Dorothy (Jack) Welch of Jelloway.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Kamara Kay Armstrong, brothers; Dwight, Bob, Ronnie, and Keith Armstrong, and sisters; Marlene Pitts, and Elaine Scott.
