Howard – Thomas Liegl, 87, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Knox Community Hospital.
Born on September 7, 1931, he was the son of Catharine (Saller) Liegl, who preceded him in death along with his brother, Jim. He was a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the CPA Association. He received his MBA from the University of Detroit.
Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Chattinger) Liegl, his daughters, Catharine “Cathy” (Jeff) Taylor, and Carrie (John) Pawlik, and five grandchildren, Amanda Taylor, Allison Taylor, Nicholas (Britny) Taylor, Lydia Taylor, and Christopher Pawlik.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 on Monday, December 17 at the St. Luke Catholic Church, 307 N. Market St. Danville. Father Mark Hammond will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time at the church.
