William W. Lonsinger

September 14, 1927 ~ November 6, 2017 (age 90) 90 Years Old

                WARSAW – William Walter Lonsinger, 90, of Warsaw died Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.

                He was born September 14, 1927 in Tiverton Township to the late Everett H. and Tena Loretta (Heffelfinger) Lonsinger.

                Bill was a 1945 graduate of Warsaw High School and a U.S. Army Veteran.  He worked as a Technician at the former General Electric Plant in Coshocton.  He was a life-long member of the Dutch Run Church of Christ where he served as a board member, President, Treasurer, and Sunday School Teacher.  Bill was an avid sports fan and could be found at many sporting events in Coshocton County.

                Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lois (Lawrence) Lonsinger whom he married Nov. 5, 1952.  Also surviving is his son, Jeffrey (Pam) Lonsinger of Coshocton.  Son-in-law, Jon Kissner of Hilliard.  Grandchildren, Tiffany (Brian) Boggs of Frazeysburg, Meghan (Jonah) Green of Nashport, Jacie (Michael) Fenn of Fresno, Anna (Chris) Brown, Kelsey Kissner, & Ross Kissner all of Hilliard, O’Del Lonsinger (Chris Hoy) of Warsaw, Beau (Hayley) Lonsinger & Nathan (Taylor) Lonsinger of Coshocton.  Step grandchildren, Courtney & Cory Wood.  Great grandchildren, Brady, Skylar, Sydney, Madison & Samantha Boggs, Carter & Drake Fenn, Hunter & Quinn Hoy, Heidi Brown, and Lane Green.

                He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Kissner, his son, Gregory Lonsinger, an infant daughter, his twin brother, Robert W. Lonsinger, his sister, Helen Conner and great granddaughter, Lola Jo Green.

                Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Mark Granger and Pastor John Cadwell officiating.  Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw with graveside military services conducted by the Coshocton County Joint Veterans Council.  Visitation is from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9th at the funeral home.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
