Fredericktown - Carter E. Looney, 70, of Mulberry St., died Tuesday July 29, 2008 at his residence.
He was born March 13, 1938 to Marjorie A. (Adkins) and Thomas G. Looney. He was retired from the J. B. Foote Foundry Co. in Fredericktown after 36 years.
He is survived by his wife; June (Cheuvront) Looney of Fredericktown, sons; Thomas (Carol) Looney of Danville, Robert (Melissa) Looney of Howard, and James Looney of the home, a daughter; Marjorie (Jimmy) Stamp of Mt. Vernon, brothers; Chet (Mary Jo) of Danville, Ron (Kelley) of Howard, and Carl (Kayleen) Looney of Butler, sisters; Phoebe Schoonover of Virginia, Wanda (Gordon) Cole of Mt. Vernon, May (Don) Mowery of Danville, and Mary (Ralph) Colopy of Georgia, grandchildren; Kyle (Bessie) Cline, Kreig Cline, Tommy Looney, Cody Edmundson, Emma and Austin Looney, Emily Pew, Hayden Looney, and Jada Stamp, a great grandchild; Lane Cline, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Clif and Curt Looney, and his first wife; Wava Looney.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday August 1, 2008 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Monte Vance will officiate. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery.
