Howard - Lewis M. Holdren II, 56, died Thursday April 9, 2009 at the Knox Community Hospital.
He was born April 18, 1952 in Mount Vernon to Lewis M. and Dortha (Elliott) Holdren. On December 4, 1976 he married Barbara J. Frye. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #199 and enjoyed spending his time hunting, golfing, and playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; Barbara Holdren of Howard, his mother; Dortha Holdren of Brinkhaven, daughters; Krista (Joseph) Ferini of Crestline, and Rachel (Eric) Schlairet of Fredericktown, his son; Lewis M. Holdren III of Mount Vernon, grandchildren; Anthony, Claudia, Lilly, Aubry, and Mason, and sisters; Sandra Tibodeau of Colorado Springs, CO, and Janice Skeen of Mount Vernon. He was preceded in death by his father; Lewis.
Funeral services have been rescheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville with Minister Gene Lilly officiating. Burial will follow at Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will now be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15th with a Masonic service at 7:45.
