Danville - Randall L. Blakely, 53, died Thursday August 8, 2013 at the Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newark.
He was born March 13, 1960 in Mount Vernon to William and Betty (Wheeler) Blakely. He was a truck driver for Ice Castles Inc. and had worked for Kelsey Hayes/TRW in Mount Vernon for 22 years. He was a member and an evangelist at the Visions of Fellowship Church in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy (Jenkins) Blakely of Danville, children; Zachary William, Cody Allen, Cayla Rae, Shannon Marie, and Dakota Levi, grandchildren; Elijah, Nathaniel, Jude, an Mason, parents, Bill and Betty, siblings; Julie (John) Johnson of Columbus, Butch (Amy) Blakely of Walhonding, Beth Blakely (James Tolley) of Mt. Gilead, and Gary (Claudia) Blakely of Utica.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Hank and Delores Blakely and Lawrence and Lucille Wheeler, and uncles; Art Wheeler and Howard Gartin.
Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday August 12 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with interment to follow at Jelloway Cemetery.
