WARSAW - Rene Edward Darling, 75, of CR 41 died March 23, 2011 in the Intensive Care Unit of Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 17, 1936 in Nellie to the late Fred Ryan "Coonie" and Grace Eleanor (Tredway) Darling.
He was a retired employee of Pretty Products in Coshocton. He was a member of the Coshocton County Sportsman's Club and a social member of the VFW #1330. He was a 1955 graduate of Warsaw High School. Rene loved to hunt and watch basketball.
He is survived by a daughter, Vicki L. (Larry) Johnson of Franklin, TN. A grandson, Atlee R. Johnson, of Bradenton Florida, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley R. (Pennell) Darling, who he married April 16, 1955, she died March 23, 2002.
There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Darling Run Cemetery near Warsaw. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is assisting the family with arrangements.
