Coshocton- Rev. Robert Hill, 88, a resident of the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility, and formerly of Warsaw, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at the care center.
He was born March 13, 1922 in Pendleton, KY to the late Eddie and Myrtie (Hill) Hill. He married Ruth A. (Cantrell) Hill on Oct. 3, 1942, who survives. He was the Reverend of the former Church of God Ministry in Warsaw for over 30 years. He was also the caretaker of the Church of God Camp in Warsaw for several years. He was a former Village Councilman in Warsaw, and he loved caring for his horses and foxhounds.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth A. Hill, also a resident of the CCMH Extended Care Facility, a daughter, Sherry S. (Rick) Cullison of Warsaw, a son, Charles E. (Janine) Hill of Parrish, FL, five grandchildren; Kris (Johnny) Ringwalt of Warsaw, Suzanna (Doug) Bennett of Coshocton, Thad J. (Brandy) Cullison of Grove City, Robert N. (Lindy) Cullison of Shreveport, LA, and Reagan Schepps of Parrish, FL, eight great-grandchildren; Ryan Ringwalt, Taylor Triplett, Abbey Bennett, Colton, Iann, & Regan Cullison, and Jeremy & Ryder Cullison, four sisters; Dorothy Grim, Sophie Kelly, & Faye Wright, all of Ashland, KY, and Loretta (Willard) Wright of Beckley, WV.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Larry Hill, three brothers; Bruce, Fred, and Ray Hill, two sisters; Dexter Cantrell & Lina Hill, and his father-in-law, Charles R. Cantrell & mother-in-law, Maratha Cantrell.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Richard Bradley and Charlotte Krebs officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8th.
