DANVILLE- Dr. Albert Junior Weaver, M.D., 69, of Orchard St., died Saturday June 15, 2013 at his residence.

He was born Nov. 15, 1943 in Knox Co. to the late Mary Marie McClain. He served in the National Guard for a short time. He graduated from George Washington University with a doctorate. He was a general practitioner in Marion and also in Virginia. He was also a former employee of the F.B.I. He was a very generous giver to the Danville community, often helping people in need anonymously.


He is survived by three sisters; Iva Carr of Danville, Charil (Chris) Fhurer of Mansfield, and Martha Lower of Minerva, a brother, Norman Lower of Mt. Vernon, three nieces, two nephews, and an aunt, Jane McClain of Brinkhaven.


A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 19, 2013 at Workman Cemetery. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
