Angela Carlfeldt, born Angela Georgia DePrima on February 6, 1932, died on November 25, 2008.
Angela is survived by her loving husband Herbert E. Carlfeldt and her three children Mary Jo Wells, Anthony John Carlfeldt, and Jennifer Ann Schoening. Mary Jo is married to husband Kim Wells with two children, Olivia Wells and Adam Wells, all living in Warsaw, Ohio. Anthony is married to wife Leandra Carlfeldt, and they share two children, Haley Carlfeldt and Sam Carlfeldt, all from Cincinnati, Ohio. Jennifer is married to husband Damon Schoening, and the two reside in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Angela Carlfeldt was born in Evanston, Illinois to parents Anthony and Marie DePrima. Angela grew up in Chicago and Park Ridge, Illinois and attended Saint Margaret Mary Church for her primary education. She later graduated from Saint Scholastica Academy. Both schools were located in Chicago, Illinois.
Shortly after her formal education Angela married Herbert Carlfeldt and began raising their family. They lived in Park Ridge, Illinois for most of their lives; raising children and taking care of Angela's parents.
In her later years as a daughter, wife and mother, Angela became a pharmacy technician prior to her husband Herb's retirement. In retirement the couple moved to Louisville, Kentucky where they enjoyed several years living in Jeffersontown and making many new cherished friends. Later the couple moved to Coshocton, Ohio to be nearer to grandchildren and to continue enjoying retirement with family, close friends and the many new acquaintances they met throughout the Coshocton County, Ohio area.
Angela was a devoutly loving wife, a tirelessly giving mother, and an endearingly cherished grandmother. She was a loyal and generous friend and a caring member of her communities. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure and privilege to know her. In loving memory, we give God thanks for her dear soul and we pray for her as she had prayed for all those she met and cared for.
Angela was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coshocton, Ohio where a funeral mass will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2008 beginning at 1:00 p.m. A private gathering at the family's home will follow.
