WARSAW - Annis Senter "Bub" Henderson, 75, of TR 51 passed away at home on Sunday, July 25, 2010 surrounded by his family.
He was born August 6, 1934 in Coshocton to the late Annis Albert and Verla D. (Senter) Henderson.
He was employed at AK Steel for 18 years and the Coshocton Post Office for 11 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving from 1951-54 receiving a purple heart. He was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Coshocton Elks, a member of the American Trap Shooting Assn., NRA, and United Kennel Club. Bub enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapshooting, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Esta O. (Patterson) Henderson, who he married June 12, 1953. Also surviving are two daughters, Rochelle A. "Shelly" Hoberg of Warsaw and Brenda S. (Kevin) Foster of Conesville. A son, Jeffrey A. Henderson of Warsaw. Grandchildren, Tina Mitchell, Michelle Peyton, Amy (Roger) Booher, Travis (Jamie) Hoberg, Angela (Shaun) Moore, Nathan Hoberg, Mindy (Brent) Shrimplin, Wade & Kaeyla Foster. Nine great grandchildren. A brother, James A. Henderson of Lubbock, TX. A step brother, Jack (Nancy) Darner of Adams Mills.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step mother, Helen G. (Zimmer) Henderson and son, Greg L. Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw with graveside military services conducted by the Coshocton County Joint Veterans Council. Visitation is Wednesday, July 28,2010 from 5-8 p.m. and until service time on Thursday.
