WARSAW – Archie W. Williamson, 95, passed away on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton.
He was born January 16, 1920 in Coshocton County to Charley and Selma (Scheibe) Williamson. On December 25, 1943, he married Louise Carter. He was a lifelong farmer, having raised dairy and limousine cattle. He also had many horses.
Archie was a member of the Clark Township Baptist Church, and the Coshocton County Farm Bureau. He served on the Coshocton County Fair Board for over 30 years. He enjoyed his grandchildren more than anything.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Williamson of Warsaw; children, Gerald (Wilma) Williamson, Don (Patty) Williamson, Connie (Robert) Ogle, Patricia Eaches, and Edwin Dean Williamson; grandchildren, Gail (Lee Jane) Williamson, Tricia (Terry) McMillan, Stacey Williamson, Kathy (Hilton) Eppley, Pam Tish, Ken Williamson, Jody (Tom) Pizzuto, Mike (Christine) Ogle, Bethany (Jason) Hankinson, Stephanie (Matt) Clark, Doug Waser, Christopher Williamson, and Deanna Williamson; great-grandchildren, Hannah Williamson, Ben (Christine) Renner, Blake and Garrett Williamson, Dakota Angle, Hilton Eppley Jr., Todd (Deanna), Ryan, and Easton Tish, Brice and Travis Williamson, Vincent Pizzuto, Christopher and Mason Ogle, Annalissa, Juliella, Elias, and Williston Hankinson, Emma Doyle, Peyton Clark, Maverick Waser, Wyatt, Caitlyn, and Tristan Williamson; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Stella Lowe, Myrtle McClure, and Alice Fisher; and a grandson, Joseph Daniel Jarrell.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday November 21, 2015 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Pastor Sonny Easterday will officiate. Burial will follow in Blissfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
