Arnold Layman Addair

Danville - Arnold Layman Addair passed away at home on June 5, 2026 at the age of 75.

Arnold was the son of Glenna Belle (Coleman) and Leck Addair, Sr., born on August 28, 1950. On November 29, 1969, he married Sharon Ruth Wilson. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2019. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Darrell and Michael Addair. He was a member of the Victory Church of Christ, and a life-long farmer who was involved with anything his grandkids were.

He is survived by his son, Adam, and his wife, Billie Jo (Sheldon); his grandchildren, Samantha, Mackenzie, Austin, and Kellyn Addair; brothers, Wayne (Darlene) Addair of North Springs, WV, Leck Addair, Jr. of Danville, Dennis (Melanie) Addair of Mount Vernon, Marty Addair of Howard, and Kenneth (Joy) Addair of Howard; in-laws, Jane Addair of Danville, Billy and Annette Hawks of Gilbert, WV, Rodney and Linda LeFevers of Justice, WV, Frank and Kathy Ruloff of Logan, WV, Lester and Karon Carlson of Tigard, OR, and Andy and Linda Wilson of Huntsville, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place at noon Saturday, June 13, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Matt McManaway and Brad White will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4-7:00 Friday evening.
