Mount Vernon - Arthur "Art" Snyder, 66, died Tuesday September 8, 2009 at his residence.
He was born November 27, 1942 in Brinkhaven to the late Arthur and Faye (Powers) Snyder, Sr. He was a retired independent truck driver.
He is survived by his wife; Peggy Jo (Howard) Snyder, chidren; Tray (Jess) Snyder, Darlene Snyder, Lisa (Chuck) Oiler, Peggy Sue Snyder, Jesse (Alena) Snyder, and step-son; Ronald Snyder, 10 grandchildren, brothers; Bill, Harry, Stanley, and Royle, sisters; Dorothy Alfrey, Virginia Baldridge, and Kathy Greene, "special mom, brothers, and sister"; Mable Squires, Joe and Jack Kent, John Squires, and Judy Gump.
Calling hours will be held from 5-7 on Tuesday September 15 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Interment will be in Brinkhaven Cemetery.
