Glenmont, OH - Avery M. Brown, 72, passed away at his home on March 19, 2013.

He was born September 25, 1940 in Crawford County to Charles E. and Etta (Hadamuscin) Brown. He was known to his family and friends as "the tinkering farmer".

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles, and a granddaughter, Raven A. Galusha.

Avery is survived by his mother, Etta, brothers, Jerry (Alice) Brown, Carles (Bev) Brown, Nilo (Jane) Brown, and Evan (Carolyn) Brown, sisters, Priscilla (Larry) Arnholt, and Sylvia Hambleon, daughters, Carla A. Nugeness, Thuvia Brown, Teena E. (Chris) Moran, Tara (Jeff) Ivers, Treyva Weekley (Craig Kister), Shyla (Terry) Vincent, step children, John Thorn, Sabrina (Wade) Thorn, Julie Thorn, and Kenny and Linda Durbin, 15 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

A memorial will be held at noon on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Family and friends are invited to share any memories or stories they may have.
