COSHOCTON- Baby Ruth Strange, 78, of 24631 TR 399, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Autumn Health Care in Coshocton.
She was born Dec. 9, 1931 in Deane, KY to the late William H. and Martha A. (Bently) Meade. She married Mearle Strange on Oct. 14, 1947, who preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1985. She was an avid gardener, and loved her flowers. She was a member of the Coshocton Church of Christ.
She is survived by seven sons; Dairl (Iva) Strange of Millstone, KY, Stanley (Rose Mary) Strange, Berlin Strange, and Trandal Strange all of Warsaw, Donnie Strange, Zachary (Linda) Strange, and John (Debbie) Strange all of Coshocton, two daughters; Condal (Acely) Potter of Neon, KY, and Cathy Ann (Victor) Green of Newcomerstown, two brothers; Can Meade of Deane, KY, and Rush Meade of Pikeville, KY, eighteen grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Fearl, a daughter, Darlene, a grandson, five brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Minister Jeremy Meade officiating. Interment will follow in Darling Run Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. Friday, and also one hour prior to service time on Saturday.
