Howard - Barbara R. Beckett, 52, died Thursday January 21, 2010 as the result of an accident.
She was born February 6, 1957 in Richwood, WV to Easter (Butler) and Norman O. Oliver. She was a medical records clerk and analyst for the past 5 years at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon. She attended and was also an evangelist and singer and songwriter at the Free Pentecostal Holiness Church near New Castle. She loved the Lord and will be missed.
She is survived by her husband; Danny Beckett of Howard, sons; Daniel (Karen) of Gambier, Casey (Tracy) of Howard, and Josh (Sondra) Beckett of Howard, her grandchildren; Raymond, Nicholas, Elisa, Ethan, Austin, and Dustin, 4 sisters, and 6 brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister; Gracie.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday January 26, 2010 at the Free Pentecostal Holiness Church; 24136 TR 113 (Dailere Lane) Warsaw, 43844. Pastor Darren Shafer will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 on Monday at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Memorial donations can be made to the church.
