Barbara Blake

LEXINGTON, KY- Barbara “Barb” BLAKE, 62, of Lexington, KY, passed away July 7, 2018 at the UK Medical Center.

Born June 15, 1956 in Millersburg, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Giauque Blake. In addition to being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Ms. Blake worked as an RN and was a past board member for the local Red Cross.

She is survived by two sons, Jonathan Thomas Blake and Kendall Alexander Blake; one sister, Ella Blake; one niece, Emily Sarah Blake, all of Lexington, KY; and one half-brother, Daniel D. Morningstar of Havelock, IA.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wed., July 11, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2459 Sir Barton Way, Lexington, KY 40509 with visitation prior 11 – 12 noon at the church. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in Lexington.

A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Friday, July 13, 2018 at Valley View Cemetery in Warsaw. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling local arrangements.
