WARSAW- Berna Mae Harmon, 62, of Beaver St., died Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Feb. 1, 1951 in Hazard, KY to the late Walter L. and Ida M. (Riley) Couch. She was a former employee of the Annin Flag Co. where she worked as a sewer. At home, she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. Her family will miss her dearly, but takes great comfort in the knowledge that she is at home in the arms of Jesus.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Harmon of Warsaw, whom she married Oct. 12, 2007. Also surviving are her two sons; Robert (Debbie) Baughman of Scottsburg, IN, and Bryan (Dustie) Thornsburg of West Lafayette, a step-daughter, Misty Harmon of Springfield, three brothers; Jimmie (Debbie) Couch of Columbus, Bob (Marilyn) Couch of Lafontaine, IN, and Adrian (Lydia) Couch of Austin, TX, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday May 10, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
