WARSAW- Bob R. Bennett, 74, of TR 341 passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 23, 1937 in Jerryville, WV to the late Arnt and Fleuridellis (Parker) Bennett. He married Irene (Fronsman) Bennett on Feb. 18, 1956. He worked at the Rice-Chadwick Co. in Killbuck for 35 years. Although he loved his job there, he was a farmer at heart and loved nothing better than to be on his tractor mowing. He loved being outdoors and had a passion for helping others. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Bennett of Warsaw, his son, Robert (Tammy) Bennett of Warsaw, one granddaughter, Brittne of San Antonio, TX, and one grandson, Cole of Warsaw. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he loved them very much. He is also survived by two brothers; Dan (Karen) Bennett of Millwood, and Steve (Ann) Bennett of Fredericktown, and a sister, Mary (Junior) Carter of Shreve.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Gene & Ross Bennett, and two sisters; Jane Bennett & Sylvia Looney.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the FISCHER FUNERAL HOME in Warsaw, with Rev. Bill Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Darling Run Cemetery near Warsaw. Visitation is one hour prior to service time. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
