WARSAW- Bonnie A. Honabarger, 81, passed away at 3:00 a.m. Thursday July 5, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care in Coshocton.
She was born August 28, 1930 in Coshocton to the late Wilmer VanKannel and Agnes White, with the late Patrick J. and Maude L. (Caley) White adopting her. She was a 1948 graduate of Coshocton High School. She married Harold Dixon Honabarger on Sept. 1, 1951, who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 2001. She loved fishing, mushroom hunting, drawing, poetry, watching football and basketball, and living on the family farm. She enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandsons.
Surviving is one son, Greg D. (Susie) Honabarger of Warsaw, three grandsons; Michael D. (Rachelle) Honabarger of Warsaw, Matthew D. (Melanie) Honabarger of Poulsbo, WA, and Marcus D. Honabarger of Rossville, GA, two step-grandsons; Brandon Jones of Fayetteville, AR, and Craig Jones, seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Winifred Lahna of Plainfield, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
A public funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to service time. A private burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
