Grove City - Brad D. White, 62, died Monday March 18, 2013 at Mount Carmel West in Columbus.
He was born March 29, 1950 in Charleston, WV to Kenneth E. and Margaret P. (Javins) White. He was a 1968 graduate of Coshocton High School, where he played football as a nose guard and offensive tackle. He married Cinda C. Anderson on November 27, 1971. He worked in sales for the Jewel Tea Company for 25 years, and Amsoil for 30 years, both in Columbus. He is a former member of the Highland Baptist Church, and Boy Scout Troop 532. He was also the Greenglen Service Unit Girl Scout Cookie Chairman, a handyman and landlord, and loved to play chess.
Brad is survived by his wife; Cinda White, daughters; Crystal L. (David C.) Walters, and Angela S. Gonzalez (David A. Hackney) all of Grove City, 4 grandchildren; Michael J.M. Walters, Johnathan D. Walters, Katheron M. Gonzalez, B. Isaiah Gonzalez IV, a sister; Patricia K. Fultz of Sunbury, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Matthew D. White, and a brother; David M. Cole.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 575 Obetz Rd. Columbus. Pastor Tim Stout and Pastor Kevin Bass will be officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery, SR 60 in Warsaw, at 2:30 p.m. Calling hours will be at the church from 6-8 on Thursday.
