WARSAW- Bruce E. Harris, 69, transitioned from this life into Eternal Rest on Dec. 14, 2021.
He was born April 22, 1952 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Harold A. and Betty L. (Wilson) Harris. He is also preceded in death by three brothers, Dale Harris Sr., Michael Harris, and Ronnie Harris; and two nephews, Dale Harris Jr., and Luke Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Harris, whom he married Dec. 29, 1994; two brothers, Robert (Shellie) Harris, and David (Louann) Harris; and two sisters-in-law, Jeanne Harris, Mindy Harris; his children, Jennifer (Stephen) Yates, Tracy (Jeff) Davis, Raymond Karnes, Brian (Rose) Karnes, and Rebecca Cochran; grandchildren, Randie (Shawn Sr.) Keller, Andrew (Samantha) Frederick, Cheyenne Davis, Andronicus Roberts, Max, Alex, & Ella Yates, and Ryan, Sean, & Tyler Averitt; great-grandchildren, Bella, Shawn Jr., & Sherry Keller, Colt Show, and Damien Dreps; a nephew, Shane (Heidi) Sager; great-nephews & great-nieces, Jeremy, Nick, & Sean Harris, David Harris, Kaylyn Harris, and Lester & Sandy Cavins; and a niece-in-law, Missy Harris.
Bruce served at the Ford Motor Co. in Brook Park for 28 years, retiring to his dream cabin at Warsaw where he has lived for the last fifteen years. He was a hunter & fisherman, and he enjoyed boating, motorcycling, and working on cars. He liked his Black Velvet & Budweiser as well.
Visitation will take place Monday, Dec. 20, 2021 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home, 412 E. Main St. Warsaw, OH 43844. A funeral service will start at 3:00, officiated by Rev. Tim Patton.
