DANVILLE- Byron Lee "Riff" Riffle, 74, of Market St., died Monday Aug. 6, 2012 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 12, 1937 in Columbus to John P. and Alice M. (Dailey) Riffle. He was a 1956 graduate of Linden-McKinley High School, and a member of the Teamster's. He was a retired truck driver for UPS. He loved Ohio State football.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Riffle, his wife, Judy L. Riffle, three daughters; Lori Frazee, Kelli (Mark) Jolly, and Tami Riffle, his first wife, Wilma Bostic, two sisters; Carol Daniels and Marge (John) Gibson, his adopted children; Penny (Chris) Riffle, Edwin Riffle, and Erica Riffle, three step-children; Neil (Nelda) Myers, Regina (Ron) Ralston, and April Masterilli, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, John P. Riffle.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday Aug. 12, 2012 at the FISCHER FUNERAL HOME in Danville with Rev. John Gibson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
