Carol J. (Christopher) Hall

KILLBUCK- Carol Jeanette Hall, 80, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021 at Joel Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg.

She was born Feb. 10, 1941 in Holmes Co. to the late Wayne and Mable (Stricker) Christopher. She married Glen “Skinner” Hall on June 6, 1986, who preceded her in death on May 29, 2007.

She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Killbuck. She worked at TRW in Mount Vernon, where she retired. She lived by herself with her dog, “Ruddy” that meant the world to her. She enjoyed reading and playing Bingo and enjoyed going places with her companion, Herb Gardner. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She will be greatly missed as she has touched so many lives.

She is survived by her companion, Herb Gardner of Brinkhaven; two sons, Allen Decker of Wills Creek, and Mike (Brenda) Decker of Newcomerstown; a daughter, Rebecca (Don) McDowell of Millersburg; two sisters, Marilyn Rock of Big Prairie, and Judy (Mike) Hostettler of DeBary, FL; her grandchildren, Mike Decker of Fredericksburg, Amy (Mike) McCullough of Cuyahoga Falls, Brian Davis of Brewster, Keri (Brian) Ruby of Kimbolton, and Corey (Tanya) Decker of Newcomerstown; and great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Ruby, Alyssa & Brock Croy, Ryker Decker, and Xander & Katie McCullough.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Mervin “Pete”, Richard “Claude”, and Wayne Christopher; and two sisters, Charlotte Harrington and Peggy Roberson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 at Workman Cemetery in Danville. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
