MOUNT VERNON- Carol Lynn Reed, 59, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Saturday February 15, 2014 at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
She was born on September 7, 1954 in Canton to Minerva (Stapleton) and Jobie Johnson, Sr. She loved going to Friday night football games, and her children and grandchildren. She would give her last dollar to them, always asking "is there anything you need?"
Carol is survived by her husband, Norman Sonny Reed of Mount Vernon, sons; Eric (Angel) Baldridge of Big Prairie, Shawn (Tricia) Baldridge of Howard, Ryan (Vikki Merritt) Baldridge of Cavallo, and Travis Baldridge of Mount Vernon, a sister, Debbie Boeshart of Danville, brothers; Roy (Sherrie) Johnson of Texas, Ron Johnson of Mount Vernon, Johnny Johnson of Walhonding, and Mike Johnson and Martin Johnson, both of Mount Vernon, grandchildren; Brayden Baldridge, Chris Goudy, Conway Baldridge, Janie Baldridge, Joshua Baldridge, Emily Baldridge, Wyatt Baldridge, Stephen Baldridge, Lindsey Baldridge, and Elijah Baldridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jobie Johnson Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Pastor Monte Vance officiating. Interment will follow in Workman Cemetery. fischerfuneralhome.com
