WARSAW- Carol Ann Shepherd, 50, of 29133 CR 22, died Saturday May 12, 2012 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born May 9, 1962 in Zanesville to Ronald and Donna (Wolford) Mercer. She married David Wayne Shepherd on Aug. 1, 1980. She was employed at Peggy Sue's Steak & Ribs restaurant in New Castle where she was a pie baker. She was the best grandma in the world, who never missed an opportunity to babysit her grandchildren. She was an amazing person, with many talents and a lot of patience. God is very lucky to get her.
She is survived by her parents, Ronald & Donna Mercer of Frazeysburg, her husband, David Shepherd of Warsaw, three daughters; Tiffany (Robert) Davis of Warsaw, Melissa (Jarrod) Schwartz of Bladensburg, and Mallory (Terry) Hysong of St. Louisville, three grandchildren; Landen & Brayden Davis, and Parker Schwartz, three brothers, three sisters, several nieces and nephews, her mother-in-law, Mary (Mel) Trotter of Florida, and her father-in-law, Jay (Barb) Shepherd of Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday May 18, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Cal Searles officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Calling hours are from 4-6 p.m. prior to service time. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
