COSHOCTON- Carole Elizabeth Rhodes, 74, of TR 78, died Tuesday Oct. 30, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital at Genesis Healthcare System Good Samaritan Campus in Zanesville.
She was born July 1, 1938 in Coshocton Co. to the late Noble Roy and Edith Ruth (Dickerson) Thomas. She attended Roscoe High School, and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She loved attending family reunions, and spending time with and taking pictures of family.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth (Joe) Boring of Coshocton, two sons; Walter Cecil Rhodes and his companion Kim Smith and her children, of Coshocton, and David A. (Tonya) Rhodes of Dresden, eight grandchildren; Jodi & Billie Jo Boring, and Rusty Allen, Dustin, Logan, Hailey, Bladen, & Braxton Rhodes, two great-grandchildren; Alexis Jade & Lily Rhodes, two brothers; David Thomas & Roger (Gwen) Thomas, both of Coshocton, a sister-in-law, Virginia Thomas of Coshocton, two aunts; Virginia Veatch & Darlene Thomas, both of Coshocton, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Rhodes, her step-father, Charles Untied, and a brother, Richard Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday Nov. 1, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Harold Sprague officiating. Burial with follow in Smith Hill Union Cemetery near Tunnel Hill. Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
