Zanesville- Cecil Rae Grandstaff, 69, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 the Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville.
He was born June 28, 1940 in Morgan Co. to the late Bertman Irl and Myrtle (Gheen) Grandstaff.
He is survived by his caregiver, Leah Dobbins of Zanesville, three brothers; John Grandstaff of Zanesville, Leroy Grandstaff of Ridgeville, and Charles Grandstaff of Zanesville, two sisters; Elda Tanner of Cannelsville, and Golda Dudley of Zanesville, several nieces and nephews, two step-children; Mathew and Leah Montgomery of Zanesville, a good friend, Robert Montgomery of Zanesville, his cat, "Patches" and his two birds, "Jake" and "Susie Belle".
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at the Valley View Cemetery in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Memorial donations may be sent in Cecil's Name to P.O. Box 25, Warsaw, OH 43844. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.
