Charles A. Sapp
Danville - Charles A. Sapp, 76, died Wednesday June 24, 2009 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born November 21, 1932 to Ed and Frances (Kent) Sapp. On June 12, 1954 he married Janet Fesler. He drove truck for 40 years and served in the National Guard for 7 years. He was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville and a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved babysitting grandkids and mowing the lawn.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, six sons, Mike (friend Lisa), Bruce (Margie), Rex, Kevin, Aaron, and Shane (Pam) Sapp, three daughters, Marcia (George) Durbin, Charlotte Totman (friend Dan), and Brooke Sapp, 10 grandchildren, Adam Sapp, Eve Hanson, Seth, Trae, Blaine, and Kyle Sapp, Bronson Durbin, Johnathon Weckesser, Ashleigh Armstrong, and Alisha Blakely, five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Betty (Carol) Harding, and Linda (John) Durbin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dick Sapp, and sisters, Garnet Hess, and Mary Francis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville, with the Rev. F. Richard Snoke officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the church on Friday from 5-9:00, with a Prayer service to follow.
