Chester "Pete" O. Mullett

Warsaw - Chester O. "Pete" Mullett, 89, of TR 25, died Tuesday May 28, 2013 at the Majora Lane Care Center in Millersburg.

He was born November 17, 1923 in Blissfield to Perry C. and Elsie (Lang) Mullett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served from 1944-46 in Burma, India, and China. He was in the 116th Field Artillery Unit and an M.P. He retired from Rice-Chadwick after 33 years. He was a member of the Clark Baptist Church, the Keene Hill Grange, and a life member of the Angus Association. He enjoyed farming and his family life.

Surviving is his wife, Ruth (Endsley) Mullett, who he married on June 23, 1956, a daughter, Diane (David) Buker of Coshocton, 2 sons; Lynn (Terri) Mullett of Warsaw, and Gene (Janel) Mullett of Coshocton, 2 step children; Wilma (Gerald) Williamson of Warsaw, and Willard (Kay) Eltringham of Killbuck, sisters; Artie Mae Rinehart of Ravenna, and Wilma Holt of Killbuck, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Emogean Ridenbaugh, Odessa Medley, Irene Snow, Bernice Parks, and Garnett Rinehart, brothers; Lester "Huie", Kenneth, Grover, and Jonas Franklin Mullett.

A funeral service will be held on Friday May 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Pastors Randy Gardiner and Fred Taylor will be officiating. Burial, with military rites by the Coshocton County Joint Veterans Council, will be in Blissfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-8 on Thursday.
