MOUNT VERNON - Christine Janette Staats, 50, formerly of Danville, passed away Thursday January 9, 2014 at the Country Club Retirement Campus Apartments.
She was born May 31, 1963 in Loudonville to Ned E. and Martha C. (Greer) Staats.
Christine was a member of the Greer Wesleyan Church and had been a server at Spearman's Restaurant in Millwood.
She is survived by her mother, Martha C. Staats of Danville. Three sisters, Ann (David) Fruth of Amelia, Pam Cross of Boiling Springs, SC, and Joanne (Lance) Boone of Howard. Two brothers, Tom (Robin) Staats and Brian (Lanna) Staats of Danville. 14 nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ned E. Staats, and her grandparents, Harold & Mary Staats.
THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE TO THE PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED SERVICES. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at THE DANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM in Danville with Pastor Don Hosier officiating. Private burial was held at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
