Clarence J. Hebron

COSHOCTON- Clarence James Hebron, 89, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Walnut Grove Health & Rehabilitation, where he was a resident.

He was born Aug. 20, 1926 in Coshocton Co. to the late Joseph M. and Ethel A. (Shaw) Hebron. He was a 1944 graduate of Warsaw High School, and served in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946. He married Juanita J. Reese on Oct. 25, 1947, who preceded him in death on March 3, 2004. He worked at Cyclops (AK Steel) for 31 years as a mill roller. He enjoyed music, especially “Big Band” music, and was a member of the Walhonding Rube Band for several years. He was a good handyman and enjoyed to tinker with his vehicles, doing all of his own maintenance and repairs. He was a member of the Warsaw United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Warsaw Lions Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda (Jake) Klink of Warsaw; a son, Jerry (Brenda) Hebron of Coshocton; four grandchildren, Chad (Kirsten) Klink of Westerville, Mandi Wilson (Danny Thomas) of Crooksville, Sabrina (Carl) Queen of Coshocton, and Jeremy Hebron of Conesville; four great-grandchildren, Joshua, Melanie, Marilyn, and Madison; a sister, Eileen Norris of Sebring; two brothers; Floyd (Eva) Hebron of Bloomfield, and Lewis (Johnalee) Hebron of Kentwood, MI; several nieces & nephews; and a special friend, Ginny Vogel of South Canton.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Rev. Francis Norris.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Luanne West officiating. Burial will follow in Darling Run Cemetery, with graveside military rites performed by the Coshocton Co. Veterans Honor Guard.
