COSHOCTON - Cora Maxine Schweitzer, 86, of Brown's Lane died Dec. 18, 2009 at the Coshocton
County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 24, 1923 in Coshocton County to the late William Henry and Gladys Ora (Dobson)
Baker.
Cora was a homemaker. A 1942 graduate of Union High School. She attended the former Princeton
Bible Church and the Chalfant Church.
She is survived by a sister, Ruby J. Fry of Warsaw and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett F. Giauque, whom she married Dec. 31,
1945, he died Apr. 11, 1982. Her second husband, Merle Schweitzer, whom she married July 26, 1985,
he died June 27, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda E. Geog and a brother, Robert Q. Baker, Sr.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View Cemetery in Warsaw with Pastor Harold Sprague officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling the arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
