Danville - Ernest Dale Lepley, 56, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Knox Community Hospital.
He was born in Dayton on December 23, 1958 to Cecil and Dorothy (Trego) Lepley. Dale enjoyed carpentry, his pride and joy Mustang, reading, and football. He was an avid Buckeyes and Browns fan, and was a former softball coach. Most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren.
Surviving is his mother, Dorothy, daughters; Amanda (Zach) Inverso, and Alizabeth (Ben) Colopy, his son, Ryan (Dennise) Lepley, grandchildren; Alivia, Caleb, Macey, Aubrey, Kaiden, Gavyn, Kendal, Keaton, and Ellie, and a sister, Darlene Tharp.
He was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents; Ernest and Lucy Trego, and Mort and Cecelia Lepley.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Bob Hines will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will be from noon until service time. Casual attire is suggested, specifically Ohio State, or your favorite team.
