Walhonding – Dan E. Yoder, age 73, died at home on October 22, 2026.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish, born in Millersburg to Eli D. and Emma J. (Miller) Yoder on July 5, 1953. He was married to Mary P. Schrock on October 28, 1976.

He was preceded in death by his mother; one brother; one sister; 3 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law; a stillborn grandchild; and a stillborn great grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Mary P. Yoder; children, Emanuel (Esther) Yoder of Ashland, Emma (Andrew) Yoder of Remus, MI, Eli (Fannie) Yoder of Howard, Paul (Martha) Yoder of Frazeysburg, Susan (Atlee) Yoder of Blanchard, MI, David (Fannie) Yoder of Walhonding, Anna (Dan) Raber of Frazeysburg, Jonas Yoder of Lucas, Lovina (James Travis) Leasure of Coshocton, Mose (Anna) Yoder of Walhonding, Esther (Jonas) Troyer of Walhonding, Katie (Daniel) Kuhns of the home, and Ray (Lovina) Yoder of Walhonding; 64 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; his father; 2 brothers, and 6 sisters.

A funeral will take place at the residence, 29141 Dennis Church Rd. Walhonding, 43843, at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, October 25. Bishop Robert Troyer will officiate. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery on Woods Church Rd. in Jackson Township. Friends and family may visit at the home anytime. The Fischer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
