Brinkhaven – Darrell E. Helms, 88, passed away at home on January 14, 2025.
He was born in Morgantown, WV to Noel and Florence (Bunner) Helms, who preceded him in death along with a granddaughter. He was recently attending Gateway Fellowship church in Millersburg.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Dortha (Logston) Helms; children, Terry (Connie) Helms, Laura White, Roger (Debbie) Helms, Kevin (Tammy) Helms, and Stanley Helms; 14 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Friday, January 17, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Andrew Wolff officiating. Burial will follow in Tiverton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until noon.
