Dover- David E. "Sam" "Cowboy" Baisden, 51, of Dover went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at Union Hospital.
He was born Oct. 4, 1958 in Huntington, WV to the late Junior E. and Gloria A. (Adkins) Baisden. He served in the United States Army, was a member of the Ohio Horsemen's Association, the Professional Bull Rider's Association, and the Coshocton Moose Lodge #935.
He is survived by five sisters; Sharon McCarty of Circleville, Reba (Harry) Grayck of Coshocton, Audrey (Eric) Franklin of Wooster, Deborah (Doug Crossley) Sammons of Coshocton, and Charlotte Gruen of Coshocton, two brothers; Michael Baisden and Stephen (Rebecca) Baisden both of Coshocton, two step-daughters; Amy Oliver of Coshocton and Amanda (Anthony) Deffenbaugh of Fresno, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Ladonna Baisden.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Billy Morton officiating. Interment will follow in New Castle Cemetery with graveside military rites performed by the Coshocton County Joint Veterans Council. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
