David K. Marshall

January 18, 1941 — October 19, 2016

Peoria, AZ – David K. Marshall, 75, formerly of Lake Buckhorn Millersburg, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.

He was born January 18, 1941 in Coshocton to Beverly R. and Beverly J. (Cooksey) Marshall. He was a 1958 graduate of Keene High School, and on June 18, 1961, he married Lea E. Fisher.

One of David’s hobbies was genealogy, and he did a lot of research for the Holmes County Genealogy Society. He was a machinist at Coshocton Industries for 8 years, and also worked at Rice-Chadwick in Killbuck for over 15 years before moving to Arizona. Shortly after, he suffered a major stroke that left him disabled for the past 22 years.

David is survived by two daughters; Teresa (Rick) Burgett of Millersburg, and Tania (Jim) Green of Glendale, AZ, a son, Troy (Kristy) Marshall of Buckeye, AZ, eight grandchildren; Chris (Rachel) Walton, Kyle (Emily) Burgett, Kurtis (Nichole) Burgett, Tim Green, Karlea Green, Josiah Marshall, Mikayla Marshall, and Jerald D. Marshall, four great-grandchildren; Jacob Walton, Grady Walton, & Trevor Burgett, and Abigail Walton, two brothers; Phil and Tom Marshall, and a sister; Becky (Bob) McDowell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lea, on January 26, 2015, a granddaughter, Erin Walton, a great grandson, Riley Walton, a brother, Denny, and a sister, Priscilla.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24 at 1:00 p.m., at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. David’s niece, Karma Burton, will officiate. Burial will follow in Blissfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
