Warsaw- David Carl McMullen, 64, of 30461 CR 401, died Saturday, January 24, 2009 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 30, 1944 in Youngstown to Edwin L. and Jane Adeline (Potts) McMullen. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967. He was a member of the American Legion, was involved in the River View F.F.A., had a passion for farming and enjoyed horse-pulling, and most of all, he cared a lot for his family.
He is survived by his father, Edwin McMullen of Warren, seven daughters; Tammy (David) Paveloi of North Canton, Lynne (Joshua) Schultz of Lancaster, Leslie McMullen of Ashtabula, Whitney McMullen, Allyssa McMullen, Suzannah McMullen, and Charity McMullen all of Warsaw, two sons; Andrew McMullen of Warsaw and Alexander McMullen of Ashtabula, and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jane McMullen.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Ron Little officiating. Burial with graveside military rites will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Church Cemetery in Richmond. Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
